About Our Farm
One warm and rainy christmas eve, we were sitting around enjoying the quiet and stumbled upon 3 silkie chickens for sale. Almost 5 years later, we’ve founded a homestead in Umatilla, FL and are happily hanging out with bunnies and chickens all day!

Our Primary Goals & Mission

Our Mission
Bella’s Little farm intends to provide educational, fun, and enjoyable mobile petting zoo experiences for children and adults, by offering farm animal experiences for private events, birthdays, and educational organizations.

Care & Welfare
Our animals health and well being is our top priority. Not only are they our event stars, but they are part of our family. Every day. We start with allowing our (some) animals free-range of our property for enjoyment of their lives. We provide Non-GMO and organic or home grown food for all animals. Housing allows for freedom to dig, burrow, run, jump, or even dance.

Education
Educating children and parents about farm life, farm animals, and how animals interact is part of what we love to do. Many times we interact with family and children who have never before seen a Rooster or a Chicken, let alone a Turkey and her family.
We’re not just fuzzy bunnies and fluff! We hatch eggs, look at things we find with microscopes, and pay attenting to breeding characteristics. Have your school reach out today for more info!

Sustainability
We believe the key to a healthy and happy farm, lifestyle, and community is through connecting with nature and sustaining a balance. Our goals are to bring urbanized areas information, interactions, and playtime with a mobile petting zoo, so they can be aware of and learn more about the earth and planet we are on. Our farm sustains based on the services and products from local businesses, locally grown products, and home made products; while we focus on recycling and reusability, reducing overall usage on any and all single use items.

A Family Run Farm in Umatilla, FL
We started our little farm adventure with 3 chickens, when we lived in Tavares, FL. Since then, we have moved to 2 acres in Umatilla and now have hundreds of fluffy, feathered, and funny friends to bring to parties. We’re not owned by a large corporation or guided by a board. It’s just Bella and her husband with kids on the farm. Our pets are our family, and they always have been. We strive to get back to the basics of human nature, and to live by the ways of the farm.
Every morning, we are up with the chickens and the goats are ready to go. Farmers never vacation as theres always something to do here.
