Summer Hours
Hey there, party people!
Ready to shake off the summer blues and dive into some serious fun? Well, before you cannonball into the pool of party planning, let’s talk about the hottest topic around – literally! But hey, as much as we love a good tan, we’re also all about keeping our furry friends and fabulous guests as cool as cucumbers under the scorching sun.
Summer Booking Hours & Limitations
Safety and Heat Awareness
Now, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of summer in the Sunshine State. Picture this – temperatures soaring, humidity skyrocketing, and the sun blazing down like it’s auditioning for a starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. Yup, that’s Florida for you! And while we wouldn’t trade those endless blue skies for anything, we also know that with great sunshine comes great responsibility – especially when it comes to our adorable alpacas and cherished guests. You see, heatstroke, dehydration, and other heat-related woes are no laughing matter, which is why we take our job as sun-safety superheroes very seriously. So grab your shades, slather on that sunscreen, and let’s keep the good times rolling – safely and responsibly, of course!
Care & Welfare
Our animals’ health and well-being are our absolute top priority, no ifs, ands, or baaa-ts about it! They’re not just the stars of our events; they’re part of the Bella’s Little Farm family – 24/7, 365 days a year. When the Florida sun starts cranking up the heat, we’ve got their backs with plenty of shady spots, cooling fans, and plenty of refreshing dips in the water troughs and mud pits. From spacious digs that provide relief from the scorching sun to breezy breezeways perfect for catching a cool breeze, our animals stay as chill as cucumbers – even when the temperature’s sizzling at our home, and even yours.
Education
With the blazing Florida sun beating down, it’s important to keep a watchful eye on the signs of heat-related ailments, especially for our furry and feathered friends. Heat stroke is no joke – it can strike suddenly and be life-threatening. Symptoms include heavy panting, lethargy, drooling, and even collapse.
That’s why we take extra precautions to ensure our animals stay cool, comfortable, and safe, no matter how high the temps climb. By understanding the risks of heat stroke and knowing how to prevent it, we can all enjoy a summer full of fun and frolic without putting anyone’s health in jeopardy.
Hydration & Staying Cool
At Bella’s Little Farm, we’re all about making memories that last a lifetime – but never at the expense of safety. That’s why we’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure that both our beloved animals and our cherished patrons stay as cool as cucumbers, even when the temperatures start to rise.
Temporary shaded areas, fans, mist sprayers, and ice-cold water bowls; we’ve got the little things covered to keep the party going without breaking a sweat. But while we’re all about having a blast, the safety and well-being of our animals and your kids are our top priorities. So rest assured, folks, because when you’re partying with us, you’re in the best (and coolest) hands possible!
Booking Time Limitations
During the sizzling summer months (from May 1 to September 30), we prioritize the health and happiness of our animals and guests by limiting outdoor party bookings to before 11:30 am and after 3:00 pm. However, fret not! Indoor and covered / naturally well-shaded areas are still available to book, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.
